Do you have wireless internet in guest rooms?
Yes, we provide free Wifi throughout the entire Motor Inn.
Do you have Foxtel?
Yes, in all 18 rooms. 80 Foxtel BIQ channels as well as all free to air television stations so you can watch your favourite shows.
How close are you to the centre of town?
500 metres from our door to the Australia Post Office and all amenities in town. A beautiful stroll away or easy car ride and town has
plenty of free parking. We are a couple of hundred metres from the Roma Train station and not far from the bus depot.
Do you have cooking facilities in the rooms?
Our 3 bedroom apartment has full cooking facilities. Each guest room has a bar fridge, Microwave and kettle. There is no cooktop. We are happy to provide a toaster, plate, bowls & cutlery upon request at no extra charge. Pubs and eateries are very close by and reception has drinks and snacks.
Do you have a Disabled unit?
Yes, we have one purpose built Disabled Unit. This has a walk in shower, ramp to the room and a little more space where needed.
As we only have the one room that is a disabled unit, we strongly suggest booking in advance.
What is the earliest I can Check-in?
Standard check-in time is 2pm, but we tend to have rooms ready from 1pm, please call ahead if required and we will do our best to accommodate.
Can I arrive late?
Yes, please give us a call if you're wanting to arrive after 7pm. and we will make arrangements for a key to be made available for a late check in.
Is the Motel a non-smoking Motel ?
Starlight is a Smoke / Vape Free property. There is no smoking in, near or outside the rooms. We have 2 dedicated smoking areas for guests out the front of the Motel with a table / Chairs and ashtray provided. We try to cater for all guests and appreciate your understanding.
Do you have a restaurant?
No, but charge backs can set up with most of the restaurants and the cafes, many eateries close by provide sensational food at great prices.
We provide complimentary bottled water and a small carton of milk in every room plus tea coffee and biscuits.
How close are you to the shops?
A two block walk to Westlands Plaza, where the anchor tenant is a large Woolworths, surrounded by numerous speciality shops. Over the road from us is a Caltex – Fish and Chips, Woolworths garage and our reception has drinks and snacks for your convenience..
How close are you to restaurants / country pubs?
Around one corner is the White Bull Tavern, around the other corner is the Club Hotel. We are only a few hundred metres from the main street in town (McDowall street) where you will find many other restaurants, inclusive of Subway, McDonalds, Kentucky chicken & Domino's Pizza.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellation after 9.00 am on the day prior to the intended day of arrival is subject to a charge of one (1) nights accommodation. Where a room is reserved and the guest does not check-in on the day of arrival, a charge of one (1) nights accommodation applies.
How do I guarantee my booking?
Valid Credit card details are required to secure a room booking or a $150 cash bond.
